Soda City String Intensive with the SC Philharmonic and the USC School of Music

Join us for a full week of orchestra, chamber music and elective classes including instrument maintenance, musician wellness, and music career exploration!

When: July 7-11, 2025 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Final Performance: July 11th at 4:00 PM, Recital Hall at USC, all are welcome
Where: USC School of Music
Cost: $150 for current SCPYO members, $225 for non-SCPYO members*
- *students who register for a spring audition and accept their position within the SCPYO are eligible for the reduced tuition rate.
- Tuition is non-refundable
Who is eligible to participate: Students who play Violin, Viola, Cello & Bass; are a member of SCPYO's Symphonic or Youth Philharmonic Ensemble OR participate in their high school orchestra
Application Requirements: Participants will be asked to submit a 4-5 minute recording of a piece of their choice as part of the registration process. This recording will be used to assign chamber groups.
