Annual Fund
The annual fund is the cornerstone of the SC Philharmonic’s fundraising efforts. It provides vital support for every piece of the Philharmonic puzzle - from the concerts on stage, to educational outreach programs in the community, and even the paper in the copier machine. Simply put, your contribution, combined with the support of others, makes music possible in the Midlands.
- ANNUAL FUND DONATION: Your gift of any amount – from $1 to $1M will go directly to support the SC Phil’s most critical needs.
- IRA DISTRIBUTION: Annual withdrawals from traditional retirement accounts are required after age 70.5. By donating this distribution to the SC Phil, you can avoid income tax!
- SPONSOR A GUEST ARTIST: We've got some amazing talents taking the stage this year!
- NOTES FOR NOTES: Make a contribution to underwrite the purchase or rental of music for a program.
- SPONSOR A SC PHIL MUSICIAN: Have a favorite musician in the orchestra? For a contribution of $500 you will be the designated 24/25 sponsor of that musician.
- LEAVE A LEGACY: Consider making a lasting impact for generations to come by including the SC Phil in your estate plans.

Stock Donations
Gifts of appreciated stock are easily transferable and count as a tax-deductible gift.
IRA
If you are at least 70.5 years old, you can make a distribution to the Philharmonic from your IRA without paying income taxes.
