Arts Capacity Prison Project

The SC Philharmonic is collaborating with the nonprofit, Arts Capacity, a Kansas-based arts organization founded by world-class violinist and educator, Holly Mulcahy. The Arts Capacity Prison Program brings the SC Philharmonic into the Camille Griffin Graham Women’s Correctional Institute with the goal of using music to build connection and rehabilitate incarcerated people living in challenging conditions.

This program is supported by grants from the SC Humanities, Richland County, Berkshire Hathaway/Carolina Gas Transmission, and the Looking Out Foundation.
