2013/2014 single-concert tickets on sale Sept. 3rd

Single-ticket sales for the South Carolina Philharmonic’s 50th season Masterworks Series begin Tuesday, Sept. 3rd at 9 a.m. online, in person, and over the phone.

Bank of America continues a long-standing tradition as the SCP’s ticket sponsor for the 2013/2014 season.

The “Thank You” Masterworks Series offers a seven-concert season that runs from October 2013 through June 2014 at Columbia’s Koger Center for the Arts (1051 Greene Street). Prices for four “standard” concerts begin at $17 and run to $47. Three “premium” concerts have tickets priced from $23 to $53.

Two ticketing changes for this special season are designed to thank the Midlands for 50 years of support. Children 17 and younger can get one free ticket each to standard Masterworks concerts, and college students with valid ID will benefit from $5 rush tickets at the door for standard concerts.

Children 17 and younger may still get half-price tickets to premium concerts, and college students and active-duty, retired, or reserve members of U.S. Armed Forces may get half-price advance tickets to all concerts. Valid photo ID is required to receive this discount.

Capitol Tickets operates from the Koger Center Box Office (806 Park St.), offering in-person sales and a charge-by-phone line at 803.251.2222 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Capitol Tickets also operates, offering access to SCP tickets on a real-time seating chart 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additional charges apply to phone and Internet orders.

Full-season subscriptions remain available here! Prices run from $80 to $248 for seniors ages 65 and older and from $85 to $260 for adults 18-64. Child (17 and younger) subscriptions are free in 2013/2014, and college students and active duty or retired members of U.S. Armed Forces receive half-price subscriptions.
