Join us for a thrilling Halloween celebration as we transform the Koger Center into the legendary school of witchcraft and wizardry! Led by guest conductor Yuriy Bekker (Charleston Symphony), enjoy a spine-tingling program featuring hair-raising classical favorites and plenty of John Williams' iconic works from the Harry Potter films, along with other musical tricks and treats.

Before the concert, conjure up some Hogwarts-themed fun in the lobby with lightning bolt face painting, encounters with magical creatures courtesy of Carolina Wildlife, and photo ops with “Have You Seen This Wizard?” frames. Costumes are highly encouraged for an unforgettable matinee of magical music and family fun that will leave you bewitched!

All Koger Center tickets incur a $2 “Restoration Fee” per ticket. All tickets sold online or over the phone incur a sliding scale convenience fee (phone fee is lower).  You can avoid internet and phone fees by visiting the Box Office in person.

About Yuriy Bekker, Guest Conductor

Yuriy Bekker, critically-acclaimed violinist and conductor, has been a mainstay of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO) in Charleston, SC for 15 years. He has recently been named the CSO’s Artistic Director and also continues to lead as Concertmaster (2007) and Principal Pops Conductor (2016).  Bekker previously served as the orchestra’s Acting Artistic Director from 2010-2014, playing a major role in the orchestra’s successful resurgence.
