To request consideration as one of the six Music for a Cause partners in the 2018/2019 season, download the application and return by Friday, March 9, to: South Carolina Philharmonic, 500 Taylor Street, Suite 300, Columbia, SC 29201, or fax it to 803.771.0268. You may also scan and email a PDF.
The S.C. Phil is pleased to accept applications for partner charities in the 2018/2019 season. Partners are recognized in publicity and advertising for the concert and are offered a display table in the lobby and the opportunity to insert an informational flyer into the program book. They are also able to sell concert tickets as a fundraiser, keeping 75% of the proceeds for their organization. In selecting its partners, the Music for a Cause program focuses on helping a diverse cross-section of smaller, human- or animal-service non-profit organizations from Richland and Lexington counties with limited resources, giving them a unique chance for publicity and awareness in front potential supporters that might not be familiar with their programs.
Many of our partner charities select a date near a major fundraiser or important date in their organization's mission (like Earth Day or World AIDS Day). Dates for the 2018/2019 season are 9/29/18, 11/10/18, 1/12/19, 2/9/19, 3/16/19 and 4/27/19 . Every attempt is made to pair your organization with its preferred date, but dates with multiple requests will be assigned based on order of applications received.
