The League of American Orchestras today appointed SCP Executive Director Rhonda Hunsinger to its board of directors for a two-year term.
“Ode to Joy,” the first Certified S.C. Grown cultural event, closes the SCP season at the Koger Center Saturday, April 28.
The SCP is announcing a new association with the VH1 “Save The Music” campaign to raise money for the SCP Youth Orchestras.

The SCP announced its seven-concert 2012/2013 Masterworks Series via the second annual “Philharmadness” Selection Monday event.
The SCP welcomes world-hopping pianist Martina Filjak back for “Mother Russia?” Saturday, March 24th.
Beginning Monday SCP single-concert tickets will be available at 806 Park Street, behind the Koger Center.
March 12 event to reveal S.C. Phil’s 12/13 season.
The SC Philharmonic will present “Encore!” – its annual Spring Gala – at the S.C. State Museum Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
The SCP is seeking applicants to complete its 12/13 roster of partner charities.
